 MIDI appoints Colliers Cre as retail consultants MIDI plc, the developers of Tigné Point and Manoel Island, has recently appointed Colliers CRE, as retail, leasing and management consultants for the Shopping Mall at Tigné Point. Colliers CRE is one of the UK’s top ten real estate advisory organisations. It employs over 700 people in 14 offices throughout the UK. Colliers CRE is an independent member of the worldwide Colliers International Organisation, one of the World’s largest Real Estate consultancy firms with over 9,000 staff based in 248 offices in 51 countries. The project team from Colliers CRE, together with GMW Architects from London and Midi’s architects AOM partnership have started the final reviewing process of the existing scheme for what will be Malta’s largest and most exciting shopping mall. Colliers CRE will be involved in the tenant mix planning, management systems, leasing strategies, as well as the pre and post launch marketing. They will also be directly involved, in conjunction with local estate agents, in the eventual leasing of the individual premises within the Mall. The Mall measures some 17,000 square metres and will house the main retail offer at Tigné Point as well as a cinema complex, a world class international department store, an 1800 square metre supermarket as well as over forty retail outlets of different sizes. This retail centre will enjoy convenient access points off the main Tigné relief road and ample parking as it is situated adjacent to what will be the largest car park in the Sliema area, currently being constructed directly under nearby Pjazza Tigné.
